Inside the Digitally Fit Awards 2026: Kenya’s Digital Leaders Gather in Nairobi

A look at the Digitally Fit Awards Kenya Edition 2026 Gala Dinner at Argyle Grand Hotel, Nairobi — and the CEOs and companies recognised for digital transformation, including Imana Insurance.

On 28 August 2026, Kenya’s digital business community filled the Argyle Grand Hotel on Mombasa Road for the Digitally Fit Awards Kenya Edition. The evening brought together CEOs, founders, educators, technology firms and service brands recognised for using websites, social media, systems and digital tools to grow their organisations.

Organised by Oracom Group and powered by KEOnline, the awards have become one of the country’s largest platforms for celebrating digital fitness across hundreds of categories. This year’s Kenya edition closed a season of nominations and public voting with a Gala Dinner, networking sessions and the announcement of winners.

A night for Kenya’s digital economy

The Gala was more than a prize-giving. It was a meeting point for brands that have chosen to compete online — from insurance and hosting to hospitality software, recruitment, education and innovation hubs.

Across the room were companies that issue documents in minutes, schools that have taken learning digital, platforms built for African hospitality, and infrastructure firms helping other businesses stay online.

Among the companies and leaders recognised

Several organisations and CEOs were honoured during the evening, including:

  • Raymond Momanyi, CEO of Imana Insurance Agency Kenya, recognised as Top CEO Leading a Digitally Fit Insurance Firm. The award reflects Imana’s work in making motor, medical, travel and corporate cover easier to compare, buy and receive digitally.
  • HOSTAFRICA, which took top honours as Top Digitally Fit AI, Innovation & Technology Firm of the Year, Top Digitally Fit Hosting Champion of the Year, and Top Digitally Fit VPS Hosting Champion of the Year. The company was also listed among the Top 50 CEOs and brands leading digital transformation.
  • iOSoft Solutions, the team behind JiPOS, recognised for building hospitality technology for hotels, restaurants and resorts across Africa.
  • Nashas Power Jobs, named Top Digitally Fit Recruitment Agency of the Year.
  • James Otula of Juja Preparatory & Senior Schools, recognised among the Top Head Teachers leading Digitally Fit Primary Schools.
  • Kamal Budhabhatti, CEO of Craft Silicon & Little, honoured as a leading CEO in the innovation-hub category.

These names represent only a slice of the evening. The Kenya edition spans hundreds of categories, from professional services and education to construction, security, hospitality and consumer brands.

Why the recognition matters to Imana

For Imana, the award is a marker of a simple idea: insurance should not be slow, confusing or paper-heavy. Clients should be able to compare options, receive certificates quickly and get support when they need it — whether they are insuring a family car, a PSV, medical cover or a business.

The recognition belongs to the Imana team that represented the brand at Argyle Grand Hotel, and to the clients who continue to choose a digital-first agency.

What the Gala leaves behind

The Digitally Fit Awards are now looking beyond Kenya to a wider East African conversation. For the brands in the room, the real test is not the trophy. It is whether digital tools continue to make service faster, clearer and more useful to customers.

Imana congratulates every winner and nominee. Kenya’s digital economy grows when companies treat technology as a way to serve people better — not as decoration.
